1. Crew Leader

Career Description

 

Must have ICPI and or NCMA Certification

Need an experienced interlocking paver installer who can lead a crew to get the job done.  A  CDL License is a plus and or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.  This position not only requires the ability to install products, but our Crew Leader must able to organize, plan, layout and execute the operation to lead our crews from the beginning of a project until the end. 

Job Requirements

First and foremost, the Crew Leader must be able to prioritize, organize, delegate, and motivate our crews to provide our customers with the highest quality of service.  Crew Leader must also be able to keep accurate records of crew's time on each job and be aware of all safety guidelines.  Must be able to assess and make changes during an installation to satisfy a customer.

Necessary Skills

Crew Leader is responsible for all aspects of each project from initial layout through excavation to laying pavers and completing projects in a timely manner and to industry standards and our customers satisfaction.  Skills needed and  the type of equipment used for this position, but not limited to, are:  Bobcat, backhoe, truck driving, saws, digging, lifting, and carrying loads of bricks.  (Note:  our crews work year-round in extreme cold and extreme heat).  Blue print reading and mathmatical skills are definitely a plus for our crew leader position.

2. Paver Installer/Laborer

Career Description

This can be an experienced position or an entry level position in the masonry and hard-scape field. You will learn basic construction skills, with the potential to grow and expand your knowledge and marketability by learning the skilled tasks involved in the Masonry and Hard-scape field. We strive to obtain career oriented people who are looking for long term career employment, enrichment and growth. 

Job Requirements

This is a very labor intensive position. Employees are required to be able to do heavy lifting, bending, kneeling and cope with the environment on a constant basis throughout the year.  Our Crew Leaders will direct our laborers on each project but we need fast learners and employees who can think and proceed without constant supervision. 

Necessary Skills

A positive outlook and the ability to learn a variety of tasks is essential. Dependability is a key trait that our employees must have. All employees are required to obtain their CDL Class A drivers license within 30 days of employment.

3. Snow Plow/Salt Spreader Operator

Snow Plow/Salt Spreader Operator 

Must be available 24 hours a day

Plowing parking lots and roadways, sometime heavily congested (with pedestrians and vehicles) parking lots and roadways

Skills:
  • Operation of Trucks up to and including 6 wheel dump truck
  • Operation of Bobcat and or Backhoe utilized for snow removal
  • Operation of snow removal equipment
  • Basic mechanical trouble shooting snow equipment
  • Basic maintenance of truck and skid steer loaders
